Below are events and activities traditionally organized, facilitated or supported by the SCS PTO. These programs and resources ensure a fun, educational and memorable experience for the students, staff and community.

Fall Fundraiser
Support local classrooms with holiday shopping in our online marketplace of SCS spirit wear, local and handmade products, and a national gift catalog, all delivered right to your door.
Dynamic Experiences
Teachers and staff create experiences such as art projects, going for ice cream, or making morning announcements which are raffled off to students for a memory that will last a lifetime.
Read-a-Thon
A school wide event that encourages our children to become lifelong readers. Track minutes read and keep an eye on our school Leader Board throughout the month!
3v3 Spring Tourney
A day of basketball and community with a 3v3 tourney for 5-8 and adults, halftime experience for K-4, food truck, bake sale, raffles and special appearances.
Food Smart
Getting kids and families excited about smart food choices through food education, farm-to-school projects, the school garden, and hands-on exploration in the classroom and cafeteria.
Jog-a-Thon
Our 2nd largest fundraiser of the year complete with all grades running laps, high-fiving teachers and parents, popsicles, outdoor games, and music!
Nearby Nature
A year round natural science workshop offered to K-2 graders. Parent volunteers are trained to lead a workshop once a month on a science topic in their child’s classroom..

Lost and Found
Regular cataloging, management and posting of all lost and found items! Lost & Found is in the main lobby and all remaining items donated to local organizations.
Flower & Veggie Gardens
Planning and management of flower and veggie gardens to ensure an inviting, beautiful and educational space on school grounds for students, and staff to enjoy.
Musicals/Drama Support
Fundraisers and production coordination for major music and drama events across the year. Last year's musicals included Finding Nemo and Spongebob Squarepants! All funds raised go to music programs at SCS.
