Manage annual grants to staff of 10-15k.
Provide fixed budgets to programs like Food Smart, Gardens, DEI, etc.
Annual distribution of Fall Fundraiser earnings to all teaching teams.

Enabling anyone to create or add to a managed legacy fund for SCS, CVU or CVSD

Increased interest in long-term donation which lasts in perpetuity and is managed NOT by CVSD, SCS or SCS PTO has led us to explore partners such The Vermont Community Foundation.

CVSD/SCS currently manages some legacy funds but they will be spent down to zero.

Structure and Committees
These vary a bit year to year based on parent interests and passions. Committees are coordinated and supported by a leadership team including Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and Marketing Communications
